How to be more concise in speaking

KNOW YOUR SUBJECT

First of all know your subject and then speak about the subject. Speak on matters where you are able to bring more clarity to others. Add something interesting to the discussion of others. While speaking you should have the desire to add something in the discussion. And your voice should be heard.
Eliminate verbal pauses

Do not pause your speaking by saying um, s, like, etc. use nonverbal pauses rather than these world because these words affect the flow of a sentence and nonverbal pause confirms your control over what is being said.

Discussion:
What you do to make your discussion more interesting ?
