paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should
have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. This requires
not that the writer make all his sentences short, or that he avoid all detail
and treat his subjects only in outline, but that every word tell.

Being consise in the business world is very important. Unecessary words, or sentences should be minimized. Getting to the point s hard for alot of people I would say due to the fact were used to having everyone know the story from detail to detail. I like the picture cartoon as it depicts the "consise" essense of news which it being horrible. I found that very funny.
ReplyDeleteNo one likes to read long letters, e-mails because people do not have time so be concise in writing and speaking. It will save your and other's time.
